Feel free to contact me at barbelka@blueyonder.co.uk , and also please visit the Norwegian Elkhound Club of Great Britain website at: http://www.necgb.co.uk/ for information about the breed in the UK.
A list of breeders who may have puppies available can be obtained by contacting the Secretary Mrs L Middleton. These breeders will be breeding in line with the breed clubs code of ethics.
If you can offer an Elkhound a new home there are a number of Elkhounds that find themselves in need of new forever homes due to no fault of their own. Please contact the chairman of The Norwegian Elkhound Rescue Fund, Mr Robert Greaves.
There is a lovely online group Norwegian Elkhounds of the UK This is a social space where you can share your news and views, post pictures, start discussions, ask questions and generally keep up to date with things going on in the UK Norwegian Elkhound world. This forum is open to all who are owned by a Norwegian Elkhound or have an interest in the breed, and has members from the pure pet owner through to breeders and judges, a great place to get advice and share yoru expereinces with the breed.
